Norris Echetebu Law congratulates its Senior US Legal Adviser Ada Echetebu on the completion of her Master of Laws requirements. On 25 September, Ms. Echetebu submitted her LL.M. Research Portfolio at the University of Auckland Postgraduate Faculty of Law. Ms. Echetebu’s portfolio, supervised by Professor Peter Watts and Amokura Kawharu, consists of three papers:
The Evolving Role of Human Rights in Expanding Bilateral Treaty Arbitration;
Bilateral Investment Treaties and the Petroleum Sectors: A Comparative Analysis of Nigeria and Uganda;
An Analysis of the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the UK Bribery Act: An Oil and Gas Industry Perspective, and;
Research Portfolio Bridging Essay: Bilateral Investment Treaty Arbitration and Anti-Corruption Efforts in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Ms. Echetebu will receive an LL.M. in International Commercial Law.
